India U19B win by seven wickets against Afghanistan U19

India U19B beat Afghanistan U19 in the first match of both sides in the quadrangular series in India. Batting first, Afghanistan U19 were all out for 106 in 47.3 overs. Jamshid Miralikhil and Ishaq Zazai toped scored with 28 and 20, respectively. Afghan bowlers started well with the ball and picked three quick wickets for 5 runs before Tilak Varma (44*) and RS Chandrol (56) formed a solid unbeaten partnership of 102 taking India U19B to victory in 22.5 overs. Afghan opening bowling pair of Abdul Rahman picked 2/28 in five overs whilst Fazal Haq took 1/9 in as many overs. The ongoing quadrangular one-day series in India features Afghanistan, South Africa, India U19A and India U19B. Afghanistan U19 are scheduled to play their next match against India U19A on 7th March.
